Fixed Fee Legal Packages

We understand the importance of being able to budget. For many legal services we therefore offer a fixed fee for the legal work that we do and in all other instances we provide you with a quote for the work to be completed.

By selecting a fixed fee you are guaranteeing that you will pay no more. Fixed fees are payable before we starts work on your case. For all fixed fee packages 50% of our charges are payable upfront and the remaining 50% on conclusion.

Why pay a Fixed Fee?

By paying a fixed fee at the start of your case you have certainty about the costs involved. The alternative is to pay an hourly rate (currently £150 plus VAT) for the time your solicitor spends on your case. We believe you should pay for the work that needs to be done, rather than the time it takes to do it.

For those unsure whether they have a case or for those not ready to instruct solicitors formally we also offer a detailed case assessment, at a fixed fee. This fee is then deducted should you decide to instruct us further in connection with your case.

In family cases where a fixed fee package does not apply or you do not wish to take this option you will be charged for time spent on your case at an hourly rate of £150 plus VAT. No chargeable work will be undertaken without your prior consent.
