AN ELDERLY woman pedestrian has been airlifted to hospital with serious leg injuries following a crash in Camborne.
Police, ambulance and two fire crews were called to Trelowarren Street after a car drove through betting agency Betfred window this morning at 9.45am.
The male driver of a Citroen car escaped uninjured but was treated for shock at the scene.
A police spokesman said: "Trelowarren Street is closed at the junction of Fore Street and Basset Road.
"Police are currently investigating the circumstances of the collision and at this stage it is not clear if further vehicles were involved in the incident."
