Successful Compensation Claim after Road Traffic Accident at Bristol Airport

Mr F was crossing the road at Bristol Airport as he was catching a plane to attend his work in Zurich as the plane was to land in Geneva in Switzerland. He was a construction engineer.

As he proceeded to cross the road a mini bus sped up and hit him causing him serious injuries. He went over the bonnet and landed upside down. He suffered from two broken wrists and two dislocated thumbs and a smashed pelvis. He was initially taken to Bristol Royal Infirmary but later transferred to Frenchay Hospital.

After spending 18 months in External Fixators our client was only able to return to work part time. It was agreed that he was contributory negligent by 25% and we successfully settled his claim for £675,000.
