About Clare

Clare is a founding partner of Linnitts Solicitors in Newton Abbot, and heads the Family Department. She has specialised in divorce and family law for over 10 years.

Clare deals with all aspects of family law including financial and property issues arising from divorce proceedings, separation agreements and pre-nuptial agreements, as well as disputes concerning children over residence, contact and parental responsibility. Clare also deals with co-habitee disputes, which can involve complex areas of law and financial proceedings following foreign divorces. Clare has taken to and won cases at to the High Court in London.

Clare has also practised personal injury work and still deals with industrial disease cases.

Clare qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2002 while working full time at a local well-known law firm. She then went on to qualify as a solicitor, gaining numerous distinctions. Clare regularly practises yoga. She is married to Chris and has two children.
